IDEO DESIGN RESEARCH

Share your perspective on assessing risk for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in primary care patients

BrainIDEO is working with researchers at a large academic center and public health department to understand the diagnosis journey of people with Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss and dementia. We want to design a better process that supports clinicians in assessing risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias among patients in primary care settings.

We're looking to speak with California-based Primary Care Providers who work with and/or screen patients for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and are open to sharing their experiences with us. This includes individuals of all ages, ethnicities, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

  • Who: California-based Primary Care Providers who work with and/or screen patients for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias

  • What: 60-minute video interview

  • Where: Remotely via Zoom or Google Meet

  • When: 8/1/23 - 8/18/23

  • Compensation (upon completion of session): $350

($350/hr is generally the market rate for the kind of no-preparation-necessary expertise conversations we plan, but if you have a different rate in mind please let us know and we'll consider what's possible within our budget)

Not the right fit for you, but know someone who is? We're offering a $25 referral bonus if you recommend someone that is chosen and participates in the research.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
