Share your perspective on the future of SNAP (EBT/food stamps)

IDEO is working to make food more accessible through SNAP, and we are talking to people about their awareness, experience, and ideas to make it better.

We're looking to speak with people remotely throughout the US and in person in the Gulf Coast, Texas, and Missouri.  This includes individuals of all ages, ethnicities, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Who:  Anyone interested, enrolled, or in the past was enrolled in SNAP

What:  Participation could include one or more of the following:

  • Individual research interview (60 minutes): you and two team members will talk about your experience and ideas
  • Group co-creation session (90 minutes): A group of people will create ideas alongside the IDEO team
  • Community Connector (minimum of 3 hours): you will work with the team to identify people we should talk to and places we should go in your community
  • Feedback Session:  individual or group session where you will give feedback on ideas created.
  • Diary Study: you will respond to daily prompts throughout a week at times that are convenient to you.

Where & When: We are engaging with people from October 30 - December 8, 2023
  • Gulf Coast: October 30 - November 4
  • Missouri: November 4 - November 11
  • Texas: November 12 - November 17
  • Remote: November 18 - December 8

Compensation: $60/ hour

 

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete; applications will be considered on a rolling basis.
