Global design company IDEO is partnering with a leading entertainment company to explore what’s next for gaming and digital play.

We’re building a Research Council of teens and young adults to participate in remote research activities to help us imagine what the next generation of gaming should look like.

Being a part of the youth council will involve approximately 30 minutes to an hour every other month (with possible opportunities for additional paid participation), from April through December 2026. Apply to share your experiences and ideas, and help shape the future of digital gaming.

Remote research activities can include:

• Individual sessions: 1:1 interviews with the IDEO team

   

• Group sessions: co-creation sessions with other research council participants

   

• Diary studies: virtual homework that includes survey questions and video responses

   

• Surveys: 10-30 minute online surveys

   

Compensation: $300 and access to the course Hello Design Thinking with IDEO U (course certificate upon completion)
